African sunset & stand

This is a beautiful fused glass and steel decoration in a lovely sunset of warm colours of red, orange and yellow with a silhouette of an African tree.

I like to incorporate texture within my fused glass work & fire my glass on a lower temperature to retain surface character.

At the moment this is a new listing but I plan to have a variety of African sunset scenes available throughout the year, maybe incorporating a giraffe, or elephant within the scenes too.

If you’d like to order one using a photo from one of your holidays I can make one unique to you & your memories.

The glass disc measures 20cm and along with the stand measures approx  40cm.

This listing comes with a steel ‘Anton’ stand (pictured) made by Lucille at Little Duck Forge – a very talented local blacksmith.

The disc is also available with a similar wooden block stand – please message me for details.
